More than a billion people speak Chinese as a native language - 85% Mandarin, 7% Wu and 6% Yue (Cantonese). Countries where Chinese is the official language feature the highest rates of economic growth. Its current share of 13% in global commerce and around 10% of the Internet community is likely to increase to some 20% in the next few years.

Features

There are two versions currently in use – simplified Chinese in the People’s Republic and traditional Chinese in Taiwan.
